My recent experimentation with different mediums to create meaningful and creative pieces in both 2D and 3D formats.
Impermanence – created with Kaitlyn Hall
Inspired by the Buddhist Law of impermanence: that all things begin, evolve, and cease to exist, viewers are able to immerse themselves by walking through the piece and interacting with each hanging sphere that vary in size and opacity to simulate the dispersal and extinction of each memory. Each ball is made up of 20 circles, meticulously folded by hand, totaling to 1,440throughout the whole piece.
